    During the turning operation, the interaction of the metal cutting process and machine tool causes a dynamic instability called self-excited vibration or chatter. Limited productivity rate, decrease in tool life, poor surface quality and noisy workplace are some adverse effects of the chatter vibration. Chatter suppression in machining processes results in more material removal rate, high precision and surface quality.     This paper deals with the issue of economic batch quantity (EBQ) in a single machine system in which defective items are produced in each cycle of production. The accumulated defective items produced in a period, consisting of several equal cycles, are all reworked in the last cycle of this period called the rework cycle.     Abstract

The defective items produced in the first N cycles are accumulated at the end of the Nth cycle and are all reworked in a separate cycle called the rework cycle which has the same length as the other cycles and begins just at the end of the Nth cycle.     Abstract
    In this research, the effect of adding graphene-based aerogel ((G)A) nanoparticles on the tensile and fatigue behavior of the epoxy polymer was investigated. Specimens of nanocomposites were prepared by adding 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, and 2 wt.-% (G)A nanoparticles to the epoxy polymer. Tensile tests revealed that the 0.1 wt.-% graphene-based aerogel/ epoxy ((G)A/E) nanocomposites had the highest increase in tensile strength with 19 % growth compared to neat epoxy. Also, the tensile modulus increased by 15 % in the 0.5 wt.-% (G)A/E nanocomposites. A substantial improvement in fatigue life of the epoxy polymer was observed on adding 0.1 wt.-% (G)A nanoparticles.     Abstract
    This article presents a routine for prediction of the crack growth path in gears. Crack simulation helps in determining failure modes and crack detecting by vibration monitoring. To simulate crack propagation an effective method is developed by which the meshing force is calculated based on the compliance of meshing teeth in every stage of crack growth. In this method the compliance matrix of the tooth is calculated using three-dimensional boundary element analysis without the need for simultaneously modelling two meshing gears.     Abstract
    This article presents a method for determination of meshing force distribution on contact region of spur gear teeth. In this method it is assumed that there are inter-connected springs on the teeth profile. These springs treat as capacitive fields. The compliance matrices of these fields are determined from the results of finite element analysis done on 3-D model of a gear. The tooth compliance matrix is used as a reference data to determine the tooth deformations for any meshing situation.     This paper discusses the determination of the transition curves for a pair of spur gear with coulomb friction. Transition curves are the loci of periodic response of parametrically excited systems and separate the stable and unstable solutions. A discrete model of a pair of spur gear is developed and the friction forces are calculated base on instantaneous dynamic force between gear teeth.
