    Abstract
    Considering that hydrocarbon production, reduces energy of reservoir and causes part of the valuable compounds remaining in the oil or gas reservoir and can not be extracted by reservoir energy, so optimization of production by control flow rate, drilling new wells and applying lOR and EOR methods in order to increase hydrocarbon recovery is necessary. Gas and water inject through injection well into the reservoir for improve oil recovery. As implementation of different production and injection scenario is very expensive.     Abstract
    In recent years, application of silica nanoparticles for wettability alteration of reservoir rocks as an effective approach in enhancing oil recovery from petroleum reservoirs is introduced. However, in this area, lack of fundamental studies to provide a clear understanding about the interaction between these nanoparticles and carbonate rocks (as the predominant reservoir rocks in the world and Iran), which is of particular importance, is sensed.
