Abstract
Due to specific hydraulic characteristics, flood resulting from the failure of constructed dams have produced some of the most devastating disasters of the last two centuries. When dams fail, limited time for right decision making and evacuation, high velocity of floods, population centers located in the vicinity of dam and some important structures lead us to simulate dam breach events, resulting floods and provide emergency action plan for all constructed dams to reduce threats due to potential dam failures.
