    Abstract
Solar chimney is one of the attractive approaches to produce power from a clean source of renewable energy. In this investigation, a potentiometric study is carried out to find out a best location for construction of a solar chimney in different climates of Iran, in the Middle East. With this objective, three locations with different weather climates were chosen, i.e. Tehran, Semnan, and Bandar Abbas. These locations were chosen due to their different climatic conditions and solar irradiation. The used weather conditions are extracted for the middle day of summer, 6th August. The output power of the solar chimney plant was assessed as a function of various thermo-physical properties such as...

Thermodynamic assessment and multi-objective optimization of performance of irreversible dual-miller cycle

    Abstract
In this study, a new series of assessments and evaluations of the Dual-Miller cycle is performed. Furthermore, the specified output power and the thermal performance associated with the engine are determined. Besides, multi-objective optimization of thermal efficiency, ecological coefficient of performance (ECOP) and ecological function (Eun) by means of NSGA-II technique and thermodynamic analysis are presented. The Pareto optimal frontier obtaining the best optimum solution is identified by fuzzy Bellman-Zadeh, Linear Programming Technique for Multidimensional Analysis of Preference (LINMAP), and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) decision-making...

    Abstract
In order to attain an efficient path into the enhancement of the sustainable conservation and management of energy resources in the buildings and residential sections, efforts by all relevant institutions in the area of energy are essential and primitive. Hence, the development of the energy supply model in the building and the provision of fundamental solutions in this area is rudimentary. The key to any program related to this matter is to boost and extend energy efficiency and energy resource management. According to the global statistics and processed data, the residential sector accounts for 34 percent of the total energy consumption in Iran, which is the highest energy consumption...
