    In this thesis, three novel geothermal-based ORC systems are proposed to enhance efficiency and to recover the waste heat recovery. The proposed systems are modeled based on basic ORC system (concept 1), ORC system with internal heat exchanger (concept 2), and regenerative ORC system (concept 3). Accordingly, two thermoelectric generators are introduced into the systems to exploit the waste heat of the system. For this purpose, the condenser is replaced by a TEG unit, while the other TEG unit is employed to recover the waste heat of the reinjected geothermal fluid.     In this study, two micro swimmers have been modeled using computational fluid dynamics and the motion specifications have been presented. The mechanisms can be used for different applications like drug delivery, monitoring, doing tasks in dangerous environments like robots and etc… . In this study, a new type of anomaly on the cosmic microwave background called the Inflationary Cherenkov effect is studied.     This study is devoted to the analysis and design of a recently proposed steel-FRP deck system. A methodology is being proposed to analysis the elastic behavior of the proposed deck. In this method the deck is modeled as an equivalent orthotropic plate which is constrained by rotational springs along its edges. This leads to a watermark power enhancement, hence an improved resilience against different attacks, while keeping the mark imperceptible.     Abstract
    An algebraic closed-form solution for locating a moving target using a distributed multiple-input multiple-output radar system is proposed. The position and velocity of the target are estimated by presenting a two-stage weighted least squares algorithm. In contrast to existing research, the proposed estimator is shown analytically to be approximately unbiased and its variance is equal to the Cramer-Rao lower bound.     In this paper, an adaptive channel estimation algorithm is proposed for the multi-user robust relay beamforming problem. We propose a norm-bounded channel uncertainty model for all of the channels. We employ the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) for joint estimation of channel coefficients and beamforming weights, and propose a Markov model for source-relay and relay-destination channels as well as the beamforming weights in the relays.     Abstract
    This letter presents a novel solution for the problem of moving target localization in multiple-input multiple-output radar systems. The localization problem is formulated, based on least squares criterion, as a non-convex optimization problem and solved by semidefinite relaxation method. Then, an improvement technique, refining the initial solution by estimating the error terms, is proposed. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a significant performance improvement over the state-of-the-art methods.     In this letter, we surpass the jamming effect and also estimate the jamming channel state information by using Kalman filtering (KF) approach. Furthermore, we design a closed-form beamforming weight for maximizing the achievable rate subject to the condition that the total relays power transmission would be below a predefined threshold level, which is formulated as a Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Program (QCQP).
