    Abstract
One of the major and costly activity in Information Systems is controlling the quality of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) that has some challenges such as a long time is needed for detection and refinement of changeability of architecture qualities, how to quantify its quality attributes and variation in architecture changes. Self-adaptation of architecture is a novel automatic method that can be composed with architectural patterns to quantify and control the quality of SOA. In this paper, a self-adaptive framework, process and methodology is defined for this issue. Based on MAPE-K model, evaluation metrics by applying architectural tactics and final quality based on quality models and...

    Abstract
Social robots may soon be able to play an important role in expanding communication with the deaf. Based on the literature, adaptive user interfaces lead to greater user acceptance and increased teaching efficiency compared to non-adaptive ones. In this paper, we build a robotic architecture able to simultaneously adjust a robot’s teaching parameters according to both the user’s past and present performance, adapt the content of the training, and then implement it on the RASA robot to teach sign language based on these parameters in a manner similar to a human teacher. To do this, a word to teach in sign language, repetition, speed, and emotional valence were chosen to be adaptive using a...

    Abstract
Proper modeling of the human arm dynamic, as it interacts with telemanipulation and haptic systems, is important in enhancing the transparency of these systems. In this article, we introduced an adaptive identifier to estimate the impedance characteristic of a human operator as it interacts with a single translational degree of freedom mechanism. The five parameter model, including an extra spring and damper for a better approximation of the dynamic behavior of human arm, has been used. Since the impedance characteristic of human arm differs from one individual to another, it is important to estimate these parameters for each individual and update the controller to enhance the transparency...
