Voltammetric monitoring of Cd (II) by nano-TiO2 modified carbon paste electrode sensitized using 1,2-bis-[o-aminophenyl thio] ethane as a new ion receptor, Article Sensors and Actuators, B: Chemical ; Vol. 192 , 2014 , pp. 648-657 ; ISSN: 09254005 ; Ghobadi, M ; Bideh, B. The objective of the work ahead is presentation of a new carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified by TiO2 nanoparticles (TiO2NPs) and 1,2-bis-[o-aminophenyl thio] ethane (APTE) ligand as a selective cation receptor for determination of the Cd (II) ions using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV). The electrode shows an excellent tendency to Cd (II) ions in presence of some interfering species. Under the optimum conditions, a linear calibration curve was obtained in the concentration range of 2.9 nM to 4.6 μM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9969 in the anodic potential of 0.54 (V vs. Ag/AgCl). The metal detection limit was 2.0 nM after 10 min preconcentration (S/N = 3). The...
Application of carbon nanoparticle/chitosan modified electrode for the square-wave adsorptive anodic striping voltammetric determination of Niclosamide, Article Electrochemistry Communications ; Volume 12, Issue 1 , 2010 , Pages 66-69 ; 13882481 (ISSN) ; Shahrokhian, S ; Sharif University of Technology
A new modified electrode formed by carbon nanoparticle/chitosan film (CNP/CS) was used for electrocatalytic reduction of Niclosamide (NA). The electrochemical behavior of NA at the CNP/CS modified electrode was investigated in detail by the means of cyclic voltammetry. The reduction mechanism of NA, corresponds to the redox chemistry of nitro group, was thoroughly investigated. The effect of the experimental parameters e.g. potential and time of accumulation, pH of the buffered solutions and potential sweep rate on the response of the electrode was studied. The prepared electrode showed high stability and uniformity in the composite film, short response time, good reproducibility and an...
Fast and ultra-sensitive voltammetric detection of lead ions by two-dimensional graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanolayers as glassy carbon electrode modifier, Article Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation ; Volume 134 , 2019 , Pages 679-687 ; 02632241 (ISSN) ; Jalilian, P ; Rezvani, E ; Kakavand, A ; Simchi, A ; Sharif University of Technology

Recently, graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has attracted great interest for photo(electro)chemical applications such as sensing, solar energy exploitation, photocatalysis, and hydrogen generation. This paper presents the potential application and benefits of g-C3N4 nanolayers as a green and highly efficient electrode modifier for the detection of trace lead ions in drinking water and urban dust samples. Carbon nitride nanosheets with a thickness of ∼6 A° and lateral of 100–150 nm were prepared through high-temperature polymerization of melamine followed by sonication-assisted liquid exfoliation. A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified by a thin layer of g-C3N4 through drop casting and...
