    Abstract
Three new Cu(I) complexes containing bidentate N^N donor ligands with the general formula [Cu(N^N)2][PF6] (N^N = 2,3-diphenyl-6,7-di-p-tolyl-1,4,5,8-tetraazaphenanthrene (L1), 2,3-diphenyl-6,7-di(2-thienyl)-1,4,5,8-tetraazaphenanthrene (L2), and 2,3-diphenyl-6,7-di-p-fluorophenyl-1,4,5,8-tetraazaphenanthrene (L3), were prepared by the reaction of [Cu(CH3CN)4][PF6] with two equivalents of the N^N ligand. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed that in each complex the metal displays a distorted tetrahedral geometry surrounded by the four N atoms of the two sterically hindered substituted tetraazaphenanthrene (TAP) ligands. Density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density...

    Abstract
Two unique heteronuclear Schiff base complexes of Cu(II), [{Cu(L)Na(ClO4)}2(μ-H2L)] (1) and Ni(II), [{Ni(L)Na(BF4)}2(μ-H2L)] (2) were synthesized and characterized by different spectroscopic methods as well as X-ray crystallography. The Schiff base ligand (H2L) was synthesized from the condensation meso-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethylenediamine with 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde. The 3d metal ions in these complexes have been accommodated by the inner N2O2 compartment of the Schiff base ligand, while the O2O′2 outer compartment has accommodated the Na(I) ion (O and O′ denote the phenolic and methoxy oxygen atoms, respectively). Besides, a Schiff base ligand has doubly bridged the M(II)/Na(I) moieties via...

    Abstract
In this study, we demonstrated a straightforward method for the easy access of chromeno[4,3-b]quinolin-6-ones via a one-pot three-component reaction of 4-hydroxycoumarin, aldehydes and aryl amines in the presence of halloysite nanoclay as an eco-friendly, inexpensive and green heterogeneous catalyst under solvent-free conditions. Moreover, symmetric and unsymmetric bis-chromeno[4,3-b]quinolin-6-ones were obtained from dialdehyde or diamines in good yields by this method. To date, this is the first report on the synthesis of symmetric and unsymmetric bis-chromeno[4,3-b]quinolin-6-ones via such a one-pot, multicomponent reaction. Abstract
Some new 1,4-distyrylbenzene derivatives were synthesized by using immobilized palladium nanoparticles on silica-bonded N-propyl morpholine (PNP-SBNPM) as a heterogeneous catalyst. These one-pot reactions afforded a range of stereoselective, symmetrical (E)-1,4-distyrylbenzene derivatives with high yields (78-90%). The green catalyst system is recyclable and allows facile product isolation. The recycled catalyst could be reused six times without appreciable loss of catalytic activity
