    Abstract
In order to effectively use a memristor in analog circuits, its memristance should be adjusted to a desired value between its limits. Since the maximum and minimum required memristance typically varies considerably between different types of memristors, it is almost impossible to tune the resistance of each memristor based on a reference resistor. Which is mostly done using some programmer circuits. Moreover, those programming strategies involving pulses are time-consuming and they impose high hardware headroom. In this paper, a novel CMOS circuit is presented for programming memristors. A Wheatstone bridge circuit is used to measure the current memristance, while the programming current is...

    Abstract
This paper presents a single-phase Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) inverter for photovoltaic applications. The proposed control strategy permits the optimum control of each string of PV panels in different insolation conditions. Based on the presented mathematical analysis, an analytic constraint is derived to check the stable operation of the inverter. A modified MPPT control strategy is also proposed based on this new condition. This strategy enhances the stability margins of the system by changing the operating point of some PV arrays. In this approach, the extracted power from high power cell is reduced to prevent instability issue and to avoid injection of highly distorted current into the...

    Abstract
This paper presents a control strategy for an islanded medium voltage microgrid to coordinate hybrid power source (HPS) units and to control interfaced multilevel inverters under unbalanced and nonlinear load conditions. The HPS employs fuel cell (FC) and photovoltaic sources as the main and supercapacitors as the complementary power sources. Fast transient response, high performance, high power density, and low FC fuel consumption are the main advantages of the proposed HPS system. The proposed...

    Abstract
This paper is focused on improving the post-fault performance of cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverters by decreasing the common-mode voltage. First, an algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal post-fault state among all possible states, which have the same maximum available voltage. Furthermore, a modified technique is proposed to calculate the references of inverter phase voltages under faulty conditions. This technique leads to a decrease in the common-mode voltage when the required output voltage is less than its maximum value. These solutions are mutually employed in the post-fault control system. Simulation and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed...

    Abstract
In this paper, a new post-fault vector control of an induction motor, fed by a faulty Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) inverter, is presented. Among fault tolerant control methods, waveform based methods are suitable for closed-loop control and provide higher output voltage. In order to control the speed of the motor, a rotor field oriented control (RFOC) is used. During the fault, the FOC is modified to decrease the fault impact on the motor as low as possible. The proposed method is validated by means of simulation results for different loads and faults. The results show an improvement in both the final operating point and the transient response of the motor
