    Abstract
The research of this work was divided into two parts. First, A novel fuorescence sensor based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer for the determination of captopril was developed. FITC molecules that are highly fluorescent in alkaline solution fluoresce weakly when they are adsorbed onto AuNP surfaces (based on affinity of AuNPs and isothiocyanate group on FITC) as a result of fluorescence resonance energy transfer. In the presence of captopril, FITC molecules are released from the AuNP surface in order to stronger affinity to AuNPs surface than FITC molecule (in order to thiol group in captopril) so the florescence intensity of FITC restore. This phenomenon was used for quantitative...

    Abstract
A novel approach for highly sensitive detection of captopril was developed based on the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), in which FITC acts as the donor and Au NPs as the acceptor. The fluorescence intensity of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) was strictly quenched as a result of noncovalently adsorbed on Au NPs. Upon the addition of captopril, the fluorescence intensity of FITC turn-on due to the competition between captopril and FITC towards the surface of Au NPs. Under the optimum conditions, the fluorescence intensity of the released FITC displays a linear relationship in the range of 20 μg L-1 to...

    Abstract
The electrochemical behavior of captopril at the surface of a carbon-paste electrode (CPE) modified with cobalt-5-nitrolsalophen (CoNSal) is described. The prepared electrode shows an excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of captopril, which is leading to marked lowering in the anodic overpotential and considerable improvement of sensitivity (anodic current). Whereas at the surface of unmodified electrode an electrochemical activity for captopril cannot be observed, a very sharp anodic wave with an anodic peak potential about 650 mV (versus Ag/AgCl) is obtained using the prepared modified electrode. This catalytic wave is assigned to mediating of Co(III)/Co(II) redox...

    Abstract
Biologic products are large molecules such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, etc., which have already produced many new drugs for clinical use in the last decades. Due to the inherent challenges faced by biologics after oral administration (e.g., acidic stomach pH, digestive enzymes, and limited permeation through the gastrointestinal tract), several alternative routes of administration have been investigated to enable sufficient drug absorption into systemic circulation. This review describes the buccal, sublingual, pulmonary, and transdermal routes of administration for biologics with relevant details of the respective barriers. While all these routes avoid transit through the...
