    Abstract
Electrochemical exfoliation of graphite has recently attracted a big attention as a simple, fast and scalable method for the preparation of high quality graphene, but there are some drawbacks that hinder its application. Direct deposition is one of the most critical challenges that makes it difficult to deposit uniform, compact and large scale graphene thin films. This work develops a facile electrophoretic deposition route to fabricate exfoliated graphene (EG) film on Ag nanowires (NWs) networks with a controllable film thickness in nanometers scale. EG thin films are deposited with different applied potentials and times from an EG dispersion in N, N-dimethylformamide solvent. Since...

    Abstract
Thin film composites (TFCs) as forward osmosis (FO) membranes for seawater desalination application were prepared. For this purpose, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) as a moderately hydrophilic polymer was used to fabricate support membranes via nonsolvent-induced phase inversion. A selective thin polyamide (PA) film was then formed on the top of PAN membranes via interfacial polymerization reaction of m-phenylenediamine and trimesoyl chloride (TMC). The effects of PAN solution concentration, solvent mixture, and coagulation bath temperature on the morphology, water permeability, and FO performance of the membranes and composites were studied. Support membranes based on low PAN concentrations (7 wt...

    Abstract
The presence of dyes as pollutants in wastewater sources from textile industries can cause significant health issues if they are not adequately treated. Dye adsorption to entrap contaminants in nanoparticle pores has created considerable attention in recent years due to the environmental concerns occurring as a result of spillage of dyes in water bodies. In efforts to understand adsorption capability UiO-66, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) were developed and examined for the separation of four pollutant dyes containing methyl red (MR), methyl orange (MO), malachite green (MG), and methylene blue (MB), which are widely used in textile industries. The adsorbent structural stability in water,...

    Abstract
We have investigated hydrogen sensing properties of electrodeposited Pd clusters on macroporous silicon substrates. Porous layer was prepared by electrochemical etching of p-type silicon (100) wafer in organic electrolyte DMF (dimethylformamide) diluted by HF (%95 Vol. %). The deposition of Pd was carried out by linear voltammetry (LV) technique. This technique was taken for reduction of palladium ions in the potential range from 0.4 V to -1 V vs. SCE, at the scan rate of 20 mV s-1. Some samples were annealed at 300°C for an hour in air to study the effect of heat treatment on their gas sensitivity. Surface structural and chemical properties of the samples were characterised using Scanning...

    Abstract
A novel sulfoxide containing bis(ether amine) monomer, 2,2'-sulfoxide- bis[4-methyl(2-trifluoromethyl)4-aminophenoxy) phenyl ether] (M2), was synthesized from the halogen displacement of 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzotrifluoride with dibenzosulfoxide (DH) in the presence of potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction of bis(ether nitro) intermediate with Zinc/Ammonium chloride. A series of organic-soluble poly(ether amide)s (PA1-7) bearing sulfoxide and electronwithdrawing trifiuoromethyl group were synthesized from bis(ether amine) with various aromatic diacids (1-7) via a direct polycondensation with triphenyl phosphite and pyridine. The resulting polymers had inherent viscosities ranging...

    Abstract
Tin sulfide (SnS2) has recently attracted considerable attention due to its layered structure that may form two dimensional morphologies. It is an n-type semiconductor with band gap and electron affinity similar to CdS and In2S3; therefore can be regarded as an alternative for these materials in thin film solar cells. Here, we synthesis of SnS2 nanoparticles with different morphology in different ratio of water-ethanol mixed solution by solvothermal method, and observe that more ethanol leads to large sheet like morphologies, while water based synthesis results in very small nanosheets. A challenge in wet deposition of device-quality thin films of SnS2 is the requirement for highly dispersed...
