    Abstract
    An assessment of trends in main air pollutant concentrations (including CO, SO2, NO2, O3, PM2.5, and Asbestos) is conducted for the years 2005–2016 for the city of Tehran, Iran. The focus has been on the contribution of anthropogenic emissions to the observed trend, particularly the role of related mitigation plans implemented in the period of interest. A significant decreasing trend (about 50%) was observed in CO and SO2 concentrations during the considered time interval, which was explained by improvement plans in fuel quality and vehicle emission standards.     Abstract
    In real soccer goal keeper has a completely different behavior that the players. Thus we designed our goal keeper with some basic ideas taken from real soccer, which is moving mainly in goal area and using arms to take the balls. Our goal keeper has a moving mechanism based on 8 motors which enables it to move forward/backward, straight left/right and rotate around its geometrical center, and a sliding arm which moves toward the direction of ball faster than the robot body.     Arvand is a robot specially designed and constructed for playing soccer according to RoboCup rules and regulations for the medium size robots. Various methods are adopted in the literature; however, to the best of our knowledge, their robustness to the prediction of new unseen data from different drivers and road conditions is not explored.     Abstract
    In a motor-drive system, there are many factors which can be considered as a figure of merit in drive control algorithm. All of these factors should be evaluated simultaneously to achieve the reliable performance of drive. In this paper, an optimization problem is constructed on a direct torque controlled induction motor drive using a candidate from different parts of drive system: inverter loss from section of solid state converter, motor loss from section of electromechanical converter and torque ripple from mechanical section.     Deduplication is a data reduction technique, which eliminates redundant data by storing only a single copy of each file or block, along with a reference to the unique copy of data. Deduplication reduces the storage space and bandwidth requirements of data storage systems, and becomes more effective when applied across multiple users. Propos- als already exist for using static page allocation which does not balance the IO load and its efficiency depends on access address patterns. To our best knowledge, there have been no research thus far to show what happens if one or more internal resources can be freely allocated regardless of the request address.     Abstract
    Application of a flux search controller in direct torque control of induction motor drives produces divergence problem and steady state flux ripple, because of the disturbance in the control loop. In this paper, an investigation about the origin of this noise has been performed. It is shown that the variation of voltage harmonics is the main reason of disturbance in the flux control loop. The minimum allowable value of flux step has been determined based on this analysis to prevent the divergence problem. Feasibility of noise cancellation has been discussed.     Flux search controllers are proposed to improve the efficiency of electrical motors especially induction motors. In this paper, a flux search controller is proposed to increase the efficiency of a direct torque controlled induction motor with light load. The reference flux value is determined through a two stage minimization algorithm with the amplitude of the stator current as the objective function. In the transient state, a great flux step is used to speed up the convergence.     Floquet dynamical quantum phase transitions (FDQPTs) are signified by recurrent nonanalytic behaviors of observables in time. In this work, we introduce a quench-free and generic approach to engineer and control FDQPTs for both pure and mixed Floquet states. By applying time-periodic modulations with two driving frequencies to a general class of spin chain model, we find multiple FDQPTs within each driving period.
