Abstract
In this study, polyaniline nanoparticles (PANI NPs) in emeraldine base (EB) form were prepared by a modified method and characterized by FTIR and UV–vis spectroscopies. The average size of the nanoparticles was 140 nm measured by DLS method. The nanoparticles were embedded into polylactic acid (PLA) nanofibers prepared by electrospinning method. It was found that inclusion of PANI NPs in PLA resulted in reduced diameter of the fibers during the electrospinning process. Also, the surface of nanofibers appeared smooth in FE-SEM images without formation of beads. Improvement in mechanical and electrical properties of PLA/PANI nanofibers over the neat PLA nanofibers implied a good dispersion of...

Abstract
Gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) was proved to be a promising bioink for corneal stromal cell delivery. However, GelMA has low mechanical properties which makes it difficult to be suturable and handled for clinical applicattion. In this study, three different ratios of 12.5 % GelMA and 10 % PEGDA were investigated for corneal stromal cells delivery. The mixture containing 75 % GelMA and 25 % PEGDA (75G25P) was found to have reasonable cell viability and suturing strength. Moreover, collagen nanofibers were incorporated into 75G25P hydrogel to improve the mechanical and biomimetic properties of the construct (75G25P-E). A hybrid structure was obtained by injecting the optimized bioink on the...

Abstract
In the present study, polylactic acid (PLA)/polyethylene glycol (PEG)/multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) electrospun nanofibrous scaffolds were prepared via electrospinning process and their applications for the anticancer drug delivery system were investigated. A response surface methodology based on Box-Behnken design (BBD) was used to evaluate the effect of key parameters of electrospinning process including solution concentration, feeding rate, tip-collector distance (TCD) and applied voltage on the morphology of PLA/PEG/MWCNT nanofibrous scaffolds. In optimum conditions (concentration of 8.15%, feeding rate of 0.2 mL/h, voltage of 18.50 kV and TCD of 13.0 cm), the minimum experimental...

Abstract
The nanofibers prepared by electrospinning process have high potential for the removal of toxic matters from wastewaters. In the present study, the titanium dioxide and titanium dioxide/zinc oxide (TiO2/ZnO) nanofibers prepared by electrospinning technique were coated on the sewage sludge carbon (SSC) surface for adsorption of Ni(II), Cu(II), and COD from aqueous solutions and industrial wastewaters of Iran. The synthesized adsorbents were characterized using XRD, SEM and EDX analysis. The effect of adsorbent type, pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time and initial concentrations of Ni(II), Cu(II) and COD on the adsorption capacity of synthesized SSC/TiO2 and SSC/TiO2/ZnO nanofibrous adsorbents...

Abstract
In the present study, the tri-layer nanofibers were synthesized via triaxial electrospinning process to control the sustained delivery of Doxorubicin (DOX), Paclitaxel (PTX) and 5- fluorouracil (5-FU) anticancer drugs from nanofibers. The 5-FU molecules were incorporated into the core solution (chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol (CS/PVA)) to fabricate the CS/PVA/5-FU inner layer of nanofibers. The intermediate layer was prepared from poly(lactic acid)/chitosan (PLA/CS) nanofibers. The DOX and PTX molecules were initially loaded into the g-C3N4 nanosheets and following were incorporated into the PLA/CS solution to fabricate the outer layer of nanofibers. The synthesized nanosheets and nanofibers were...
