    Abstract
    "Product" and "process" are two mutually orthogonal and important aspects of software. As Part 1 discusses "product", Part 2 discusses "process". "Process" is independent of "product" and is used commonly by various "producers". This paper first explains the structure of "process" and then introduces important technique by "divide and conquer". Various important management issues are discussed

    In this paper, we present an axiomatic modeling of lean production system design, using process variables (PVs). So far, we had developed a model for conceptual design of lean production systems by means of FR-DP relationships, the key characteristics of axiomatic design (AD) methodology, appeared in the proceedings of Second International Conference of Axiomatic Design. Albeit the model in question was thorough enough to be applied in various cases, its embedded abstract principles hamper straightforward applications and the required resources, tools, and techniques are not clarified.     Abstract
    Repetitive decomposing of the objective concept hierarchically, developed for design involves a human intentional activity, ranging from management to physical works. This model proved the empirical rules in Industrial Engineering. In addition to these "design" process characteristics, the "test" process is found to be a defect attenuating process with the attenuation rate of its error rate of the second kind.     In this paper we consider a two-level supply chain system consisting of one warehouse and one retailer. The retailer faces Poisson demand. We introduce a new approach to inventory control in the supply chain management which is different from the classical policies used in the literature of inventory and production control systems.     Abstract
    This paper proposes a reliability model for the electrical subassemblies of geared wind turbine systems with induction generators. The model is derived considering the failure of main subassemblies and their parameters are calculated. A productivity comparison is performed between the selected wind turbine systems including reliability issues. Two methods of modification for variable-speed wind turbines with Doubly Fed Induction Generators (DFIG) to improve their availability are finally suggested

    Abstract
    This study deals with the large-scale production of biosurfactant from soybean oil soapstock by Pseudomonas aeruginosa MR01. The production of biosurfactant was carried out in a newly designed bioreactor equipped with recycling flow under three operational conditions. Kinetic studies were conducted at both shake flask and 5-L bioreactor scales during fermentation in a soapstock medium. Mathematical equations were developed to model the kinetic patterns at both scales. RESULT: Statistical analyses demonstrated the goodness of fit, with regression r-squared, R2, between 0.97and 0.99 for different models.     Dynamic vibration absorbers are used to reduce the undesirable vibrations in many applications such as electrical transmission lines, helicopters, gas turbines, engines, bridges, etc. Tuneable vibration absorbers (TVA) are also used as semi-active controllers. In this paper, the application of a TVA for suppression of chatter vibrations in the boring manufacturing process is presented.
