    Abstract
    In this paper we consider a relaying communication system over Rician fading channels. In this system we assume simple Incremental-Selective Decode-and-Forward (ISDF) protocol, which is jointly combining incremental and selective DF relaying protocols. In this protocol, storage or retransmission of the first phase signal are not allowed. We analyze the symbol error rate (SER) performance of the recommended protocol with M-PSK modulation. We evaluate the performance of the protocol in the frequency nonselective slow Rician fading channels. Using the approximation of the SER expression, the optimal power allocation is investigated.     We propose a new coded cooperation scheme for wireless communications to obtain transmit diversity in the scenarios that agents such as mobile handsets, sensor network nodes and etc., due to size, power or other constraints, cannot utilize multiple antennas. New scheme supports more than two cooperative users with a relatively low cooperation level. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme in a frequency nonselective slow fading channel.     Abstract
    For a fading full-duplex decode-and-forward relay channel, the authors analytically derive optimum power allocation schemes subject to individual power constraints at the source and the relay. The authors prove that the problem is a convex optimisation problem over the feasible power set, and by proposing a systematic technique to solve min-max problems, optimum power allocations are derived in closed-forms. Finally, for a Rayleigh-fading channel model, optimum power allocations are derived and the respective achievable rate and an upper bound are evaluated.     Communication networks with highly mobile users are emerging rapidly. Autonomous vehicular communication is an interesting example of such systems.     In this paper, we evaluate the performance of both uncoded and coded multiple access TH-UWB systems introduced in [1-3], in multipath Rayleigh fading channels. The receiver is a selective diversity combining receiver, known as SRake.     A receiver structure, which has linear computational complexity with the number of users, is proposed for decoding multiuser information data in a convolutionally coded asynchronous DS-CDMA system in multipath fading channels.     In this brief, a new blind spectrum sensing method is proposed based on frequency comparison using a phase frequency detector (PFD). The PFD output patterns are utilized in a way to sense the spectrum with no knowledge of incoming signals, noise, or channel parameters. The detection and false alarm error probabilities are analytically calculated for additive white Gaussian noise and sine-wave input and are simulated for different inputs. It is shown that the required detection and false alarm probabilities can be achieved by changing the system parameters.     This paper considers a cooperative space-frequency (SF) coded OFDM system and evaluates its performance over quasi-static frequency selective Rayleigh fading channels. An expression for exact outage error probability is derived and its tight closed form lower bound is presented. The tightness of the lower bound is demonstrated through the Monte Carlo simulations. The asymptotic analysis indicates that the proposed protocol achieves full spatial and frequency diversities available in the cooperative communication system.
