    Abstract
    Since space diversity and frequency diversity are both efficient techniques in the radar applications, we propose in this paper a method for simultaneous usage of both techniques. On this basis, multi-frequency array radar in which all frequencies are used simultaneously to increase the number of targets that can be uniquely identified, is introduced and analyzed. First, the signal model for such a system is derived and then, it is shown how the use of multi-frequency signal can noticeably improve the parameter identifiability. Specifically, we show the maximum number of targets that can be uniquely identified by the multi-frequency array radar is L times that of its single-frequency array...

    Abstract
    We have performed an analysis of harmonic contents of the optical output power for a diode laser and described the results in details. In the first step the absolute value of power for each harmonic is obtained in terms of various diode laser parameters, and the variations of external parameters such as modulation current, bias current and frequency are discussed. The analysis is done by direct solution of rate equations of an arbitrary diode laser for carrier and photon densities. We conclude that the maximum power occurs at isolated peaks and their loci have been investigated and shown to be predictable by theory.     Abstract
    This paper deals with the coupling flexural-torsional vibration analysis of a grid formed by two members. A mass-spring system is attached to the grid at the intersecting joint. The members of the grid are assumed to resist torsion as well as bending and shear. Moreover, the mechanical and geometrical properties of each member are different. In order to analyze the problem, a closed-form solution is obtained. In doing so, the governing differential equations of the system along with the pertinent boundary and compatibility conditions of the system are introduced. Then, the frequency parameters of the mechanical system under study are derived and given for the first five modes of vibration....

    Abstract
    In this paper, free vibration analysis of thin symmetrically laminated skew plates with fully clamped edges is investigated. The governing differential equation for skew plate which is a fourth order partial differential equation (PDE) is obtained by transforming the differential equation in Cartesian coordinates into skew coordinates. Based on the multi-term extended Kantorovich method (MTEKM) an efficient and accurate approximate closed-form solution is presented for the governing PDE. Application of the MTEKM reduces the governing PDE to a dual set of ordinary differential equations.     Abstract
    In this paper, the hydrodynamic and thermal behavior of a Fe3O4 ferrofluid flow was experimentally investigated inside a cupric u-shaped tube on a horizontal surface, under the effect of a variable magnetic field. The inlet flow regime was laminar and considered under the thermal boundary conditions of the tube with a uniform heat flux, which was affected by the variable magnetic field in some regions.
