    Abstract
    With the widespread internet usage, digital contents are easily distributed throughout the world. To eliminate concerns of producers and owners of digital contents, watermarking techniques are extensively being used. Robustness against intentional and unintentional attacks is a major quality of watermarking systems. Since different attacks tend to target different parts of the frequency spectrum, in this paper we propose a framework for blind watermarking which determines the type of attack that the image has gone through before extracting the watermark. Within this framework, we propose an attack classification method to identify the region of the frequency spectrum that is less damaged....

    Abstract
    In this paper we demonstrate a dynamical system simulator that runs on a single GPU. The model (running on an NVIDIA GT325M with 1GB of memory) is up to 50 times faster than a CPU version when more than 10 million adaptive Hopf oscillators have been simulated. The simulation shows that the oscillators tune to the correct frequencies for both discrete and continuous spectra. Due to its dynamic nature the system is also capable to track non-stationary spectra. With the help of this model the frequency spectrum of an ECG signal (as a non-stationary signal) obtained and was showed that frequency domain representation of signal (i.e. FFT) is the same as one MATLAB generates

    Abstract
    In this paper some advantage of online monitoring in power transformer and the sensors that can be used for partial discharge detection are described. Several detected PD in one power transformer and one distribution transformer are depicted. Matlabs wavelet package is employed to de-noise the recorded signals. As it appear from the captured and the denoised signals, PD signals in an aged power transformer are often enough large that can be easily detected through the noisy measured signals. By examination of the frequency spectrum of several PD signal in this paper it is obvious that this signal contain two major frequency band, one under 1 MHz and the other one between 7 to 9 MHz. © 2008...

    Tool Condition Monitoring (TCM) is a vital demand of advanced manufacturing in order to develop automated unmanned production. Continuing the machining operation with a worn or damaged tool will result in damages to the workpiece. This problem becomes more important in supplementary machining processes like drilling which the workpiece usually has passed a lot of machining processes and any damage to workpiece at this stage results in high production losses. In this research features of sound pressure and vibration signals in drilling process are recorded and analyzed in order to detect tool wear.     Abstract
    A theory is presented for the quantum radiation emitted from a single exciton in a quantum dot. We assume that the quantum dot is in strong coupling to a slab photonic crystal cavity. A dielectric function of spatial coordinates is used to explain the effects of the macroscopic medium. It has been proved that the electric field in such a medium can be described using the so-called K-function. We derive a formula for obtaining the frequency spectrum, and present an analytical result for the optical spectrum, which is dependent on the K-function.     Abstract
    Variational principle is used to derive the nonlinear response of the floating roof of cylindrical liquid storage tanks due to harmonic base excitations. The formulation accounts for nonlinearity due to large deflections of the floating roof. The derived nonlinear governing equation for the sloshing response of the floating roof has a cubic nonlinear stiffness term similar to the well known Duffing equation. It is shown that accounting for large deflections could substantially reduce the wave elevation for near resonance harmonic excitations.
