    Abstract
Previous empirical research about the functions of innovative systems has been less enabled to present practical strategies for managers’ decisions. This paper aims to determine the boundaries of the innovation system in the oil industry by prioritizing strategic innovative upstream technologies for policy-making and commercializing within the framework of energy technological innovation systems. This paper proposes a novel fuzzy approach based on distance from ideals to scrutinize the effects of effective criteria on the policy-making process and rank new and essential technologies in various fields. The developed fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution...

Considering the Stratification in Multi-criteria Decision Making to Make a Stable Decision under Uncertainty

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Sharifi, Shayan (Author) ; Rafiee, Majid (Supervisor)
    Abstract
In today's world, decision-making has become one of the main problems and challenges for managers, despite the conflicting goals and the different scenarios. On the other hand, most existing decision-making methods are not applicable to all issues in different decision-making environments. Therefore, in this study, by presenting a new algorithm, these concerns have been reduced and a new method has been proposed using the concept of stratification recently introduced by Lotfi Zadeh. In the present study, a single system multi stratification and multi-system multi stratification are presented, which provide managers with an easier understanding and analysis of each system so that they can...

A possibilistic-probabilistic tool for evaluating the impact of stochastic renewable and controllable power generation on energy losses in distribution networks-A case study

    , Article Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews ; Volume 15, Issue 1 , 2011 , Pages 794-800 ; 13640321 (ISSN) Soroudi, A ; Ehsan, M ; Sharif University of Technology
    Abstract
This paper proposes a hybrid possibilistic-probabilistic evaluation tool for analyzing the effect of uncertain power production of distributed generations (DGs) on active losses of distribution networks. The considered DG technologies are gas and wind turbines. This tool is useful for distribution network operators (DNOs) when they are faced with uncertainties which some of them can be modeled probabilistically and some of them are described possibilistically. The generation pattern of DG units changes the flow of lines and this will cause change of active losses which DNO is responsible for compensating it. This pattern is highly dependent on DG technology and also on decisions of DG...
