    Abstract
    Using natural gas combined with diesel fuel in diesel engines provides a considerable contribution to modern industrial societies in order to control air pollution and, also, generalize and facilitate the use of public vehicles.     Abstract
    Accurate value determination of natural gas viscosity plays a key role in its management as it is one of the most important parameters in natural gas engineering calculations. In this study, a comprehensive model is suggested for prediction of natural gas viscosity in a wide range of pressures, temperatures, densities and compositions. The new model can be applicable for gases containing heptane plus and non-hydrocarbon components. It is validated by the 2011 viscosity data from 18 different gas mixtures. Compared to existing similar models and correlations, its results are quite satisfactory

    Emission characteristics of pure natural gas is fairly known, however more experimental investigation of natural gas combustion is necessary. In this research, emission and performance of a turbocharged natural gas SI engine are investigated experimentally at WOT and lean burn conditions. A computer code is also developed in MATLAB environment for predicting engine performance and NO emission and the results are validated with experimental data.     Abstract
    Dynamic vibration absorbers are used as semi-active controllers to reduce the undesirable vibrations in many applications such as electrical transmission lines, helicopters, gas turbines, engines, bridges and etc. One type of these absorbers is tunable vibration absorber (TVA). In this paper, regenerative chatter in an orthogonal turning process is suppressed using a (TVA). It is shown that TVA can modify the frequency response function of the cutting tool so as to improve cutting stability in turning process.     This article reports the experimental and theoretical results for a spark ignition engine working with compressed natural gas as a fuel. The theoretical part of this work uses a zero-dimensional, multi-zone combustion model in order to predict nitric oxide (NO) emission in a spark ignition (SI) engine. The basic concept of the model is the division of the burned gas into several distinct zones for taking into account the temperature stratification of the burned mixture during combustion.
