Studying Instances of Conflict of Interest in Some Job Positions in Iran’s Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education

Abstract
This study investigates and enumerates instances of conflict of interests in some job positions in Iran’s Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. To achieve this goal, we interviewed people involved in the health field and reviewed job descriptions as well. By adopting the prevalent definition of conflict of interests regarding the duties, authorities, and responsibilities, instances of conflict of interests has been relatively identified in each position. A Mathematical Model for Providing Home Care Services by Hospital During COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
In this study, providing home care services by hospitals in the epidemic situations such as COVID-19 is proposed for the first time. Moreover, a mathematical formulation is developed to provide simultaneous decision-making about serving patients without COVID-19, scheduling nurses in the non-COVID-19 wards of hospitals, and scheduling and routing for nurses to serve patients at home. Abstract
Outpatient appointment scheduling problems have recently gained increasing attention. This paper provides a comprehensive review of recent analytical and numerical optimization studies that present decision-support tools for designing and planning outpatient appointment systems (OASs). A structure for organizing the recent literature according to various criteria is provided, including a framework that classifies decisions at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Abstract
The Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study (GBD) 2019 provides a rules-based synthesis of the available evidence on levels and trends in health outcomes, a diverse set of risk factors, and health system responses. GBD 2019 covered 204 countries and territories, as well as first administrative level disaggregations for 22 countries, from 1990 to 2019. Because GBD is highly standardised and comprehensive, spanning both fatal and non-fatal outcomes, and uses a mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive list of hierarchical disease and injury causes, the study provides a powerful basis for detailed and broad insights on global health trends and emerging challenges. Background: Comprehensive and comparable estimates of health spending in each country are a key input for health policy and planning, and are necessary to support the achievement of national and international health goals.
