    Abstract
Modeling the mechanical behavior of asphalt binders and mixtures has been the subject of intensified research in recent decades. Master curves of the norm of the complex modulus |G*| in the linear viscoelastic domain are frequently used for modeling, while phase angle master curves are less frequently considered for this purpose. Therefore in this research, an empirical model is introduced for phase angle master curves of modified and neat bituminous binders. The model is based on a general form of a double-logistic (DL) mathematical function. The |GG*| master curve was then modeled using a mutual relationship between the phase angle and |GG*|. Master curves of three neat and seven modified...

    Abstract
In this study by using a capacitive cell probe the temperature variation of the electrical properties of the water liquids is investigated. Variation of the reactance capacitance parameter of liquids with temperature in the range of 17-60°C is measured for the plain water and water mixtures. The temperature variations of the capacitance for the cool distilled and tap water samples are studied for the range of 17-29°C obtained. Present results indicate an averaged variation of 4.69 μF/°C for the distilled water and 3.24 μF/°C for tap water in warm up process to a near room temperature. The cooling behaviors for the warm mineral, tap and salt water liquids are also investigated in this study....

    Abstract
Tubular ceramic membranes were synthesized by depositing a dense layer of silica-alumina on top of a multilayer substrate using co-current chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The multilayer substrate was prepared by coating with a series of bohemite sols with certain particle sizes. Cross-sectional and surface images obtained from high resolution FESEM showed that the intermediate layer had a thickness of about 1μm and the top selective layer was uniform and dense with a thickness of less than 100nm. Permeance tests, which were carried out with H 2, CO 2, N 2 and CH 4 at a high temperature range of 923-1073K, indicated that gas permeation took place via different mechanisms through...
