    Abstract
The production of porous (SAFFIL) preforms and SAFFIL/SiCP hybrid preforms will be discussed. SAFFIL fibers and SiCP are dispersed into an aqueous medium that consists of colloidal silica binder, distilled water, dispersants and deflocculants using agitation, spontaneous sedimentation, followed by drying and final strengthening. The effect of different process parameters such as various deflocculants and surfactants on the mechanical properties, mixing time and volumetric change of these preforms will also be investigated

Proposing an Optimized Controller Mechanism of a CNC Machine Tool and Analyzing its Kinematic and Dynamic Characteristics

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Rastkar, Siavash (Author) ; Zohoor, Hassan (Supervisor)
    Abstract
In this thesis a 2-3PRS hybrid mechanism is presented. This manipulator is consisted of two serially connected parallel 3PRS mechanisms, each mechanism has three degrees of freedom, so that the overall degrees of freedom of the manipulator are six. The relations for position, velocity and acceleration of the mechanism in both forward and inverese kinematics are derived and then singular points are determined. After that, the inverse dynamic equations for one of the 3PRS mechanisms are derived through the Newton-Euler and aslo Lagrange approach and the results are verified. Then the derived Newton-Euler equations are implemented for inverse and forward dynamics of the hybrid manipulator. The...

Effect of electron correlation in Sr(Ca)Ru1-xCrxO3: Density functional calculation

    Abstract
We have investigated the electronic structure of Sr(Ca)Ru1-xCrxO3 using the full potential linearized augmented plane wave method by different approximation such as LSDA and LSDA+U. The LSDA calculation suggest that Cr4+-Ru4+ hybridization is responsible for the high Curie temperature TC in SrRu1-xCrxO3, but it cannot completely describe its physical behavior. Our LSDA+U DOS results for SrRu1-xCrxO3 clearly establishes renormalization of the intra-atomic exchange strength at the Ru sites, arising from the Cr-Ru hybridization. The antiferromagnetic coupling of Cr3+ with Ru4+,5+ lattice increases the screening, which is consistent with the low magnetic moment of the Ru ions. The more distorted...
