    One of the main challenges in RoboCup is to maintain a high level of speed and accuracy in decision making and performing actions by the robot players. Although we might be able to use complicated hardware and software on the robots to achieve the desired accuracy, but such systems might not be applicable in real-time RoboCup environment due to their high processing time. This is quite serious for the robots equipped with more than one vision systems.     This paper presents a novel approach for detection and recognition of multi-view faces whose location is unknown and the illumination conditions are varying. The detection of faces is accomplished after canceling the effect of the various illumination conditions by using a proposed filter. Because of the independency of the approach to skin color of face, the persons with every kind of skin colors are detected even in completely dark environments.     Applying the recently emerged technique, MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) to PCL (Passive Coherent Location) is expected to improve performance of localization schemes. In this paper, we explore the application of MIMO technology to PCL schemes and see how it improves the spatial diversity of such systems. Specifically, we use the DVB-T stations as the illuminators of opportunity in the simulations, mainly because of their unique features which make them quite suitable for both MIMO and PCL application as will be demonstrated in this paper.     In this paper, a method for increasing the temporal resolution of a temporal imaging system has been developed. Analogously to the conventional spatial imaging systems in which resolution limit is due to the finite aperture of the lens, in a temporal imaging system, the finite temporal aperture of the time lens is responsible for limited temporal resolution.     Porous silicon samples obtained from p+-type silicon wafers were impregnated with Pd by electroless process in different conditions. Scanning electron microscopy was used to study the change in the features of the surface after palladium plating. Results showed how the factors like Pd-salt concentration, HCl concentration, temperature of the electroless solution and the time of process affect on the growth and nucleation of Pd particles.     We have previously reported the results of plasmonic behavior of an Au nanodisk array in the far-field coupling regime under oblique illumination with transverse electric polarization.     One of non-cooperative illuminators recently considered for passive radar applications is the DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial) station. The thumbtack ambiguity function of the DVB-T signal in addition to being stationary makes such signal a good candidate for such applications.     Interfacial studies and band alignment engineering on the electron transport layer (ETL) play a key role for fabrication of high-performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, an amorphous layer of SnO2 (a-SnO2) between the TiO2 ETL and the perovskite absorber is inserted and the charge transport properties of the device are studied. The double-layer structure of TiO2 compact layer (c-TiO2) and a-SnO2 ETL leads to modification of interface energetics, resulting in improved charge collection and decreased carrier recombination in PSCs.
