Gene proliferation is vital for infectious and genetic diseases diagnosis from a blood sample, even before birth. In addition, DNA sequencing, genetic finger-print analyzing, and genetic mutation detecting can be mentioned as other procedures requiring gene reproduction. Polymerase chain reaction, briefly known as PCR, is a convenient and effective way to accomplish this task; where the DNA containing sample faces three temperature phases alternatively. These phases are known as denaturation, annealing, and elongation/extension which in this study -regarding the type of the primers and the target DNA sequence- are set to occur at 95, 58, and 72 degrees of Celsius. In this study, a PCR device...
Investigation of the effects of compact fluorescent lamps in power distribution systems, Article 2011 10th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering, EEEIC.EU 2011 - Conference Proceedings, 8 May 2011 through 11 May 2011 ; May , 2011 , Page(s): 1 - 4 ; 9781424487820 (ISBN) ; Kazemi, A. The desire to decrease electrical loading by using energy efficient lighting has resulted in a high level of attention to replacing conventional incandescent lamps with compact fluorescent lamps (CFL). In Iran from energy management point of view, people are encouraged by ministry of power to use CFLs. Also after elimination of subsidies, the substantial increase in electric energy price resulted in a high level of penetration of CFLs in electricity grid. CFL is a nonlinear load, therefore it injects harmonic to the network. In past, due to lower application of CFL, these harmonics were ignored, however today by the widespread application of CFLs; these small sources are combined and have...
Modeling and solving a sustainable closed loop supply chain problem with pricing decisions and discounts on returned products, Article Journal of Cleaner Production ; Volume 207 , 2019 , Pages 163-181 ; 09596526 (ISSN) ; Haghighi, F ; Akhavan Niaki, S. T ; Sharif University of Technology

Increasing rates of environmental and social concerns involved in various communities have recently attracted researchers’ attention to consider them in proper designs of sustainable supply chains (SSCs). In this paper, the planning problem of a multi-period multi-echelon sustainable closed loop supply chain (SCLSC) is investigated. A comprehensive model that seriously takes into account the social and environmental aspects of the supply chain (SC) decisions and measures their social and environmental effects using the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) guideline indicators is proposed. The proposed planning model includes tactical decisions comprising the price of the product and logistic...
