We have reported a new and efficient synthesis of a broad spectrum of heterotetracyclic thiopyranoindole via knovenagel hetero diels alder reaction.Fused pyrimidines have attracted considerable attention in synthetic organic chemistry because of their wide range of biological activities pharmaceutical and therapeutic properties, and antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor, and anti-inflammatory activities.
