    Abstract
    Contamination of pistachio nuts with aflatoxin is one of the most significant issues related to pistachio health and expert. A fast pistachio aflatoxin concentration measurement method based on the laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy (LIFS) is proposed. The proposed method from theoretical and experimental points of view is analyzed. In our experiments XeCl Excimer laser is employed as an Ultra Violet (UV) source (λ=308 nm) and a UV-visible (UV-vis) spectrometer is used for fluorescent emission detection.     Abstract
    Using an appropriate design of electrodes and adjustment of the thyratron decoupling circuit as a high-repetition-rate and high-voltage switch, very stable operation of a copper vapor laser at high pressures was obtained. This was achieved by canceling the intense filamentation in the laser plasma at the higher pressures. The transverse grooves on the inner surface of the funnel-shaped copper electrodes permit operation of the laser up to 100 torr. This design reduces the cathode-fall voltage, and as a result reduces the thermal loading in the cathode-fall region. The optimum pressure was 80 torr.     Abstract
    This paper develops a new evolutionary algorithm for generating low autocorrelation binary sequences. These sequences are of interest in pulse compression technique. The proposed algorithm is fast enough to yield optimum or near optimum codes. The generated sequences were compared to the best literature and were seen that its results are better than the others. This suggested method could change 11 rows of the previous best known PSLs table, whereas the previous literature could change only one record. These records were combined with the best results reported in the papers to produce a new best minimal-PSL binary sequence table for bit lengths 71 through 100. ©2008 IEEE

    Abstract
    The effects of the polarized incident laser pulse on the electrons of the plasma surface and on the reflected pulse in the relativistic laser-plasma interaction is investigated. Based on the relativistic oscillating mirror and totally reflecting oscillating mirror (TROM) regimes, the interaction of the intense polarized laser pulses with over-dense plasma is considered. Based on the effect of ponderomotive force on the characteristic of generated electron nano-bunches, considerable increasing in the localization and charges of nano-bunches are realized.     The resonant second harmonic generation in the presence of a wiggler magnetic field by twisted laser plasma interaction is surveyed. The wiggler magnetic field provides additional momentum required for the phase matching. The Laguerre-Gaussian modes can be used to control the self-focusing and improve the second harmonic generation in laser plasma interaction. A subfamily of Hypergeometric-Gaussian beams with a non-negative, even and integer radial index, can be expressed as the linear superposition of finite number of Laguerre-Gaussian functions.     Laser shock peening (LSP) is known as a post processing surface treatment which can improve the mechanical properties of some materials.     Shear stress effect has been often neglected in calculation of the Weibel instability growth rate in laser-plasma interactions. In the present work, the role of the shear stress in the Weibel instability growth rate in the dense plasma with density gradient is explored. By increasing the density gradient, the shear stress threshold is increasing and the range of the propagation angles of growing modes is limited. Therefore, by increasing steps of the density gradient plasma near the relativistic electron beam-emitting region, the Weibel instability occurs at a higher stress flow.     Finding binary sequences with low autocorrelation is very important in many applications and their construction is a hard computational problem.     Abstract
    Using the ellipsoidal cavity model, the quasi-monoenergetic electron output beam in laser-plasma interaction is described. By the cavity regime the quality of electron beam is improved in comparison with those generated from other methods such as periodic plasma wave field, spheroidal cavity regime and plasma channel guided acceleration. Trajectory of electron motion is described as hyperbolic, parabolic or elliptic paths. We find that the self-generated electron bunch has a smaller energy width and more effective gain in energy spectrum.
