    Quantitative Modeling and Investigating the Effect of Variation of Permeable Surface on the Volume of Runoff Case Study: Zargande conduit located in Maghsoodbeyg-Sadr area in Tehran

    Although surface water networks play a very important role in transporting runoff, they contain significant amounts of pollutants entered through the point or non-point sources which cannot be neglected. The goal of this research is quantitative modeling of Zargande reach located in Maghsoodbeyg-Sadr area using SWMM model and investigating the effect of variation of permeable surface on the volume of runoff. Analysis of a 7 hour precipitation with the total of 5 mm cumulative precipitation resulted in 1.6 mm per hour loss of watershed.     Review of waste management models indicate that optimization models based on the chain of waste flow are developed and applied in waste management systems. These models do represent the flow of material through few stages and they lack an integrated approach that may include the flow of material from the point of waste generation in different sectors till the end point at the land fill.     This paper develops methodology and technique tor the design, analysis, and impie mentation of an adaptive generalized predictive controller (AGPC) for Active Queue Management in TCP Networks. The TCP/AQM dynamic is modeled experimentally as a second-order system with a time delay where its parameters are estimated using the standard gradient algorithm. Based on this model, an AGPC is designed to gain the set-point tracking and robustness.     In this paper, a wide area measurement, centralized, load frequency control using model predictive control (MPC) is presented for multi-area power systems. A multivariable constrained MPC was used to calculate optimal control actions including generation rate constraints. To alleviate computational effort and to reduce numerical problems, particularly in large prediction horizon, an exponentially weighted functional MPC was employed.
