    Abstract
    One of the primary challenges of re-planning in high-speed urban railways is the randomness of disruptive events. In this study, an integrated disturbance recovery model presented in which short-turn and stop-skip service operations are optimized together to minimize the average of passengers’ waiting times. This study develops a discrete-event simulation model that employs a variable neighborhood search algorithm to maintain the service level under infrastructure elements’ unavailability. Due to the unpredictable nature of the incidents, the uncertainty associated with obstruction duration is experimentally analyzed through probabilistic scenarios.     Evaluation of aspergillus niger and penicillium simplicissimum for their ability to leach Zn–Ni–Cu from waste mobile phone printed circuit boards

    Abstract
    In this research, Zn, Ni, and Cu recovery from mobile phone printed circuit boards was investigated. The initial pH and pulp density using Aspergillus niger or Penicillium simplicissimum fungi were optimized to improve the recovery of Zn, Ni, and Cu using a central composite design. Fungi were able to recover 97% of Cu. Often for Ni recovery, A. niger was more effective, but in low pulp densities and low pH, P. simplicissimum was preferred. For recovery of Zn, A. niger is more appropriate at pH lower than 6, but P. simplicissimum outperforms at pH higher than 6. Under the optimum conditions (pulp density of 4 gL−1 and initial pH 10), the respective recovery of Cu, Ni, and Zn was determined...

    Abstract
    Vertical copper oxide nanoflakes were synthesized on a Cu foil through oxidation in alkaline conditions. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that after exposing the nanoflakes to an Escherichia coli bacterial suspension, the outermost surface of the nanoflakes was chemically reduced through the glycolysis process of the bacteria. Current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of the nanoflakes (measured perpendicular to surface of the Cu foil by using conductive atomic force microscopy) indicated that electrical resistivity of the nanoflakes increased about one order of magnitude after exposure to the bacterial suspension.     Abstract
    This paper introduces a Dynamic Read SRAM (DRSRAM) architecture for high-density subthreshold RAM applications. DRSRAM performs a dynamic read operation to overcome the poor stability and bitline leakage problem of 6T SRAM cell in sub-threshold region. It is shown that there is fundamental limit for wordline activation time and recovery time under a given cell mismatch and bitline leakage. To verify the proposed technique, a 64128 bit array of the 6T bit-cell is simulated in 90 nm CMOS technology. The simulation results show a 100% noise margin enhancement at subthreshold region.     Nanosecond pulsed-power generators have many applications in industries. As the rise time and fall time of conventional semiconductor switches are usually more than a few nanoseconds, it is necessary to employ special switches or new pulse generating methods to achieve nanosecond pulses.     We have investigated hydrogen sensing properties of electrodeposited Pd clusters on macroporous silicon substrates. Porous layer was prepared by electrochemical etching of p-type silicon (100) wafer in organic electrolyte DMF (dimethylformamide) diluted by HF (%95 Vol. %). The deposition of Pd was carried out by linear voltammetry (LV) technique. This technique was taken for reduction of palladium ions in the potential range from 0.4 V to -1 V vs. SCE, at the scan rate of 20 mV s-1.
