    Nano composite coating based on cellulose nanofibers/carbon nanoparticles: application to voltammetric determination of clonazepam

    Abstract
    A novel electrochemical sensor for clonazepam (CLNP) was fabricated based on immobilizing cellulose nanofibers/carbon nanoparticles (CNFs/CNPs) nanocomposite on glassy carbon electrode (CNFs/CNPs/GCE). The combination of CNFs and CNPs produced a novel kind of structurally uniform and electro-analytically active nanocomposite. The surface morphology of CNFs/CNPs layer deposited onto glassy carbon electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The results of the voltammetric investigations showed a considerable enhancement in the cathodic peak current of CLNP (up to 60 times) on the surface of CNFs/CNPs/GCE relative to the bare GCE.     Mechanically stable superhydrophobic nanostructured aluminum mesh with reduced water surface friction

    Abstract
    Superhydrophobic surfaces demonstrate significant characteristics which make them suitable for a wide variety of applications. In this study, we propose a facile, one-step, and cost-effective anodizing scheme using aluminum nitrate/stearic acid mixture solution to create a superhydrophobic surface on an aluminum mesh. The surface outperforms the surface anodized by the widely used oxalic acid solution in terms of superhydrophobicity and water-surface friction behavior. The proposed surface reduced the friction by 11% on average respective to the surface prepared by oxalic acid. The durability of the introduced superhydrophobic surface has also been investigated.     Abstract
    A new modified electrode formed by carbon nanoparticle/chitosan film (CNP/CS) was used for electrocatalytic reduction of Niclosamide (NA). The electrochemical behavior of NA at the CNP/CS modified electrode was investigated in detail by the means of cyclic voltammetry. The reduction mechanism of NA, corresponds to the redox chemistry of nitro group, was thoroughly investigated.
