    Abstract
    Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology is a new trend in manufacturing complex geometric structures from metals. This technology allows producing topologically optimized parts for aerospace, medical and industrial sectors where a high performance-to-weight ratio is required. Commonly the feature size for such applications is higher than 300–400 microns. However, for several possible applications of LPBF technology, for example, microfluidic devices, stents for coronary vessels, porous filters, dentistry, etc., a significant increase in the resolution is required.     Abstract
    This paper presents a decentralized self-adjusting reactive power controller for the autonomous operation of a multi-bus medium voltage (MV) microgrid. The main objective of the proposed control strategy of each distributed generation (DG) unit is to compensate the reactive power of its local loads and to share the reactive power of the nonlocal loads among itself and other DG units. The proposed control strategy includes an improved droop controller whose parameters are adjusted according to the reactive power of the local loads.     Abstract
    In this research, it has been tried to design two controllers for a KVLCC2 tanker assuming unknown hydrodynamic characteristics and its mathematical model in order to maintain its course and speed. At first, due to the lack of an experimental model of a vessel, a three-degree-of-freedom MMG model of the KVLCC2 vessel was modeled in the SIMULINK, MATLAB, to be used as a basis for other tests and simulations.     Abstract
    A new technique for improving the performance of low-voltage folding ADC's by extending the input range is presented. It is shown that by using both PMOS and NMOS differential pairs in the folding blocks, the overall input voltage range of the ADC can be increased to rail-to-rail. A novel self-adjustment method is also introduced to compensate for the different input-output characteristics of PMOS and NMOS differential pairs. A low voltage 8-bit 80 MSample/s folding/interpolating ADC is then designed and fabricated in a 0.18 μm CMOS process.     Abstract
    The Poiseuille flow through slit-like nanochannels is investigated using the nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulations. To drive a dense flow through the channel, we use two self-adjusting vertical plates strategy. These plates force the liquid to flow through the nanochannel under adjustable inlet and outlet boundary conditions. Comparing with the dual-control-volume grand-canonical molecular dynamics method, the current strategy provides many advantages. The current strategy does not need particle insertion and deletion, therefore, the system dynamics would not be affected at all.
