    Abstract
Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are best known for their great structural diversity. The uniformity in the properties of MOFs is mainly governed by the size and morphology of the particles. In the present research, iron-MIL-88A was prepared by a modulator-assisted solvothermal method, and the role of modulating agents in the formation process of MOF particles was investigated. Acetic acid and formic acid were chosen as monoligand modulating agents. The changes in morphology and size distribution of the products were scrutinized by using SEM micrographs. Both modulators clearly interfered with the crystallization process through their attachment to the reactive sites. At low modulator...

    Abstract
The use of magnetic compounds for drug delivery and magnetic imaging has been studied in many studies. The easy use of magnetic particles makes them widespread. By applying a magnetic field, the particles reach the desired position and return to the original state by cutting off the field. The use of these magnetic materials in the nanoscale also adds other benefits, including: convenient and rapid transfer of nanoparticles, rapid repulsion of the kidneys, reducing the risk of overdose, etc. In recent years, the use of quantum dots for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors has attracted much attention. The use of hybrid quantum dots and magnetic nanoparticles can incorporate the desired...

    Abstract
In this research, carbon nanotube decorated with Cu nanoparticles (CNT/Cu) was synthesized by a new solvothermal process. Solvothermal treatment of CuSO4 and NaOH was completed in ethanol containing ultrasonically dispersed CNTs at 160 °C for 3 h. In the solvothermal process, Cu nanoparticles were heterogeneously deposited on the surface of COOH-functionalized CNTs through the reduction of the Cu+2 ions. Cu nanoparticles with the size of ≈8 nm on CNTs (and some in the solution) and strong bonding between Cu and CNT were obtained by the used process. Microstructural characterization revealed that the solvothermal method is an appropriate method for producing homogenous CNT/Cu nanostructure....

The power conversion efficiency (PCE) enhancement of the cells is first attained by controlling the thickness of the films for light harvesting improvement. The fabricated DSSC composed of pure BaTiO3 NPs with an optimal thickness of 25 μm shows...

Field emission electron microscope (FE-SEM) images showed that the aspect ratio of CdS nanostructures depends upon the dielectric constant and boiling temperature of solvents. CdS nanostructures with the highest aspect ratio in the form...

    Abstract
Herein, we report a new strategy for improving the efficiency and reducing the fabrication cost of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) by elimination of the three- or four-fold layer deposition of TiO2. This is performed by replacing a single layer deposition of mesoporous TiO2 beads, with sub-micrometer size, high surface area and tunable pore size, synthesized by a combination of sol-gel and solvothermal methods. Furthermore, superior electronic properties gained by a reduction in electronic trap states are achieved through doping of pristine TiO2 beads with lithium. The beads have a spherical shape with monodispersed texture consisting of anatase-TiO2 nanocrystals and ultra-fine pores. The...
