    Proposition of Control Structure for DME Synthesis Plant

    Abstract
    The development and use of design methods for control structures has grown significantly in recent decades. In this study, a systematic plantwide control procedure proposed by Skogestad, has been used. The main idea of suggested method is based on the self-optimizing variables. One of the advantages of this method of designing a control structure is considering the economic optimization of the process in most stages of its implementation. The indirect and direct dimethyl ether synthesis from natural gas feed have been investigated in this study. In this research, indirect and direct dimethyl ether synthesis processes are simulated with Aspen Plus V10 and degree of freedom analysis is done....

    Abstract
    The presence of the desired signal (DS) in the training snapshots makes the adaptive beamformer sensitive to any steering vector mismatch and dramatically reduces the convergence rate. The objective of the present study is to propose a new adaptive beamformer which is robust against direction-of-arrival (DOA) mismatch and its convergence rate is not sensitive to the presence of the DS. This method is applicable to the arrays with specific structure such as the linear array.     Abstract
    In this article, a new double spinning disks reactor (DSDR) has been proposed and tested successfully for the synthesis of barium sulfate nanoparticles by means of the reactive precipitation. The proposed DSDR consists of two coaxial rotating disks placed horizontally in a cylindrical chamber.     Abstract
    In this work we report a fast two-step microwave activated synthesis of the ZnS:Mn nanocrystals. Zn(NO3)2 and Na2S 2O3 were used as the precursors and Mn(NO 3)2 was employed as the source of the impurity. The aqueous synthesis was based on the heat sensitivity of Na2S 2O3, which releases some S species on heating. Consequently, the reaction was well activated under microwave irradiation resulting in formation of ZnS:Mn nanocrystals. Thioglycerol (TG) was also used as the capping agent and the catalyst of the reaction.     Abstract
    Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanostructures with different morphologies including uniform nanoparticles, magnetic beads and nanorods were synthesized via a co-precipitation method. The synthesis process was performed at various temperatures in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) at different concentrations. It is shown that small amounts of PVA act as a template in hot water (70 °C), leading to the oriented growth of Fe3O4 nanorods, which was confirmed by selected area electron diffraction.     Abstract
    Design technology is expected to rise to electronic system-level (ESL). This necessitates new techniques and tools for synthesizing ESL designs and for verifying them before and after ESL synthesis. A promising verification strategy for future very complex designs is to initially verify the design at the highest level of abstraction, and then check the equivalence of the lower level automatically generated models against that initial golden model.
