    Abstract
    We show that networks of spin-1 particles connected in a special geometry and subject to Affleck-Kennedy-Lieb-Tasaki (AKLT) interaction are capable of perfectly transferring states of particles (qubits and qutrits) if we also allow a global control of the network in predetermined time intervals. The geometry can be one, two, and three dimensional. The strengths of the couplings have the same modulus, and only their signs differ on various bonds. Any particle which is routed in the network acquires relative phase shifts which can be corrected after it is extracted from the network. An advantage of this protocol is that one can route more than one particle through the network simultaneously....

    Abstract
    We show that in a microfluidic network with low Reynolds numbers, a system can be irreversible due to hysteresis effects. We simulated a network of pipes that was used in a recent experiment. The network consists of one loop connected to input and output pipes. A train of droplets enters the system at a uniform rate, but the droplets may leave the system in a periodic or even a chaotic pattern. The output pattern depends on the time interval between incoming droplets as well as the network geometry. For some parameters, the system is not reversible

    Abstract
    An embedded time interval data acquisition system (DAS) is developed for zero power reactor (ZPR) noise experiments. The system is capable of measuring the correlation or probability distribution of a random process. The design is totally implemented on a single Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The architecture is tested on different FPGA platforms with different speed grades and hardware resources. Generic experimental values for time resolution and inter-event dead time of the system are 2.22 ns and 6.67 ns respectively. The DAS can record around 48-bit × 790 kS/s utilizing its built-in fast memory. The system can measure very long time intervals due to its 48-bit timing structure...

    Presented is a novel approach for online trajectory modification of joint motions to transfer a free open kinematic chain, undergoing flight phase, from a specified initial configuration to a specified final configuration. Formally, it is assumed that a nominal trajectory, computed offline, can reorient the kinematic chain (reconfiguration problem) for a given angular momentum on a time interval.     Abstract
    a small array of Water Cherenkov Detectors (WCDs) has recorded 600000 events related to extensive air showers in Tehran during one year at an altitude of 1200m. By employing the method of obtaining count in each time interval distributions we obtained the distribution of extensive air showers. 17 events were found in our data set which are more probable to be related to primary gamma ray photons. For more certainty we did a simulation to compare acquired results from simulation and data to become sure if 17 extensive air showers are electromagnetic or not

    We consider the minimization of power consumption in target tracking wireless sensor networks (WSNs) using dynamic modification of tracking interval. In this context, we first analyze the performance of such networks, using a quantitative mathematical analysis. Then we calculate an upper bound for the achievable improvement in total power consumption, when using an adaptive time interval modification algorithm for tracking moving objects with acceleration.     Abstract
    This paper investigates a new algorithm for flocking of multi-Agent systems with virtual leader. In this algorithm, unlike the existing algorithms, receiving of information by agents are not continuous and it is assumed that each agents receives information of neighbors and virtual leader as sampled data in fixed time intervals. A sufficient condition on sampling period is derived to guarantee the velocity convergence of agents to that of virtual leader, preserve network connectivity, and ensure collision avoidance.     Abstract
    At ALBORZ Observatory in Tehran (51° 200 , 35 ° 430' , 1200 m) we accumulated a complete year of data by a 4-fold square array of Water Cherenkov Detectors (WCDs) with the side 6.08 m. It is recorded about 800,000 fine EAS events from 2006/11/12 to 2007/11/20 by the approximate recording rate of 0.03. Time differences between each two, three, four, five and ... have a very good agreement with gammafunction, which shows the correct random nature of the events. Of course we expect that about less than 1% of the EAS events (≤9000 events) be electromagnetic and naturally not random, but the contribution is so small. Then by Farley/Storey procedure [1] we found a signature of real sidereal data....

    In this paper we consider a two- echelon inventory system consisting of one supplier and a number of retailers with independent Poisson demand. Unsatisfied demands in retailers are lost and it is assumed that there is a constraint on total lost sales for the system. Each retailer applies a new ordering policy called one-fer-one-peried ordering policy for its inventory control.     Abstract
    The accuracy of the object tracking is dependent on the tracking time interval. Smaller tracking time interval increases the accuracy of tracking a moving object. However, this increases the power consumption significantly. This paper proposes a new adaptive algorithm (AEC) to adapt tracking time interval such that it minimizes power consumption while keeping the required accuracy.     In this study, the optimal burn time for low-thrust impulsive propulsion systems is investigated to raise the perigee altitude of a low-Earth orbit. The maneuver is done using spin-stabilized attitude control and impulsive thrusting system for a time interval centered about apogee point. On the one hand, the low value of the thrust level causes more burn time needed to accomplish the transfer.     A single-step green method for effective reduction and functionalization of graphene oxide (GO) by glucose was developed. Then, efficacy of the glucose-reduced GO sheets in photothermal therapy of LNCaP prostate cancer cells was investigated in vitro. The GO suspension reduced and functionalized by glucose in the presence of Fe catalyst showed a biocompatible property with an excellent near-infrared (NIR) photothermal therapy efficiency better than hydrazine-reduced GO, single-wall and multi-wall carbon nanotube suspensions which even showed some levels of toxicities.
