    Abstract
    one of the main problems of radar identification in electronic warfare support system is analysis of pulse repetition interval (PRI) modulation. In this paper a robust method of recognizing the PRI modulation type of radar signals is proposed to improve robustness of previous recognition methods as well as to reduce the complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves much better error recognition rate in case of missing and spurious pulses than other methods such as autocorrelation based techniques and the Noone method

    A positioning system for underwater users is proposed based on the underwater wireless optical CDMA network.     Abstract
    In the literature, although a few studies can be found regarding the application of revenue management to special cases of Make-to-Order manufacturing systems with stochastic capacity, there is not any study when capacity or demand (or both) are random variables with general distribution function. Therefore, in this paper, an approach is developed to study a more general case of Make-to-Order manufacturing systems based on the concept of revenue management. Due to the random nature of capacity and demand, the exact size of capacity to satisfy the orders is not known at the time of arriving orders. Consequently, the vital decision is either to accept or reject an order at the time of arrival....

    Abstract
    In this paper the problem of k out of n detection, between sequence of M random bits is addressed. The main application of the result is in a radar system, when we want to detect a target (with unknown time of arrival (TOA)), using binary integration. Another application is in ESM systems, when the system wants to detect the existence of a swept jammer or a gated noise jammer. But as any other mathematical problem, it may have some other applications.     Abstract
    Least squares estimation is a widely-used technique for range-based source localization, which obtains the most probable position of mobile station. These methods cannot provide desirable accuracy in the case with a non line of sight (NLOS) path between mobile station and base stations. To circumvent this drawback, many algorithms have been proposed to identify and mitigate this error; however, they have a large run-time overhead. On the other hand, new positioning systems utilize a large set of base stations, and a practical algorithm should be fast enough to deal with them.     Abstract
    In this letter, the problem of source localization using time difference of arrival (TDOA) is investigated. Then, a closedform two-stage solution is proposed based on estimation of the range nuisance parameter in the first stage and refinement of initial solution in the next stage. The proposed solution is shown analytically and verified by simulations to be an efficient estimate, which can attain the CRLB performance under mild Gaussian noise assumption. This method is able to locate the source with the minimum number of sensors required for N-dimensional localization.
