    Abstract
    The main objective of this paper is to make a detailed systematic analysis of two-stage, axial flow turbine by using of different losses models and a new suggested algorithm based on one-dimensional simulation. The suggested method is found to be effective, fast and stable, in obtaining performance characteristics of multi-stage axial flow turbines. In one-dimensional modeling, mass flow rate, pressure ratio and efficiency are unknown, with define turbine geometry, inlet total pressure and temperature the turbine performance characteristics can be modeled.     Abstract
    Shewhart charts are the most popular control charts that can be used to monitor variable quality characteristics in a production process. In this paper, a multi-objective model of the economic statistical design of the X-bar control chart is first proposed by incorporating the Taguchi loss function and the intangible external costs. The model minimizes the mean hourly loss cost while minimizing out-of-control average run length and maintaining reasonable in-control average run length.     This paper presents a new framework for planning studies of modern distribution networks. Presence of electric vehicles (EVs) and various technologies of distributed generation (DG) technologies are considered in the studies as two upcoming events of the future systems.     This paper develops the seismic damage models of brick masonry veneer attached to the masonry infill without metal ties and assesses the life cycle cost of veneers subjected to earthquake excitation. Even though anchoring veneers to the backup wall has been prescribed in recent building codes, most of the existing brick veneers in seismic prone areas around the world lack the anchoring details.
