    Abstract
In this paper, chatter instability of micro end mill tools is studied by taking into account the process damping effect. The actual geometry of the micro tool including shank, taper part and fluted section is considered in the analysis. Timoshenko beam theory is utilized to consider the shear deformation and rotary inertia effects due to short and thick beam-type structures of each parts of the micro tool. The extended Hamilton's Principle is used to formulate a detailed dynamical model of the rotating micro end mill. The governing equations are solved by assumed mode model expansion. An exact dynamic stiffness method is developed to investigate modal characteristics of the tool including...

An Investigation on the electrochemical behavior of the co/cu multilayer system

    Abstract
Co/Cu multilayers were deposited in a sulfate solution by controlling the current and potential for the deposition of cobalt and copper layer respectively. The electrochemical behavior of these multilayers was studied by cyclic voltammetry and current transients. In addition, a mathematical analysis was used to characterize the electrodeposition system. Simultaneously, the nucleation and growth mechanisms were monitored by these techniques. In this case, the results clearly showed that electrodeposition of cobalt layers was a kinetically controlled process while the reduction of copper ions was a diffusion-control process. Although nucleation mechanism of the single Co deposit was found as a...

    Abstract
Co2+ and Cr3+-substituted SrBaCu2-xCoxCryFe28-yO46 X-type hexaferrite with x = y = 0, 0.1 to 0.5 (step = 0.1) were prepared through auto-combustion sol–gel method and sintered at 1250 °C for 5 h which was found from thermal analysis. The thermal investigation, phase detection, spectral, magnetic, and dielectric characteristics of the prepared composition were investigated by TGA, XRD, FTIR, VSM, and dielectric measurement. XRD patterns of the entire composition confirmed the development of a single phase of X-type structure. The enhancement in the lattice parameters and cell volume was observed by varying the Co–Cr concentration, attributed to the larger ionic radii substitution. FTIRspectra...
