    Abstract
This study presents an analytical approach for proper selection of output functions to be regulated for the Vienna rectifier such that the resultant closed-loop systems are minimum phase. Specifically, two different adaptive control methodologies based on the input-output linearisation are developed and categorised. In the first category, three output functions are introduced and imposed to be zero by using three dynamic feedback laws. On the basis of states to be regulated, four different cases are studied and it is shown that only one of these cases results in a one-dimensional zero dynamics with an asymptotically stable equilibrium point. In the second category, two output functions are...

Application of random PWM techniques for reducing the electromagnetic interference of Vienna rectifiers in distribution power system

    , Article 2009 IEEE 6th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference, IPEMC '09, 17 May 2009 through 20 May 2009 ; 2009 , Pages 998-1003 ; 9781424435562 (ISBN) Kaboli, S ; Rajaei, A. H ; Sheikhi, A ; Sharif University of Technology
    Abstract
Random pulse width modulation (RPWM) technique has been employed to generate the control signals of Vienna-type rectifier. This technique is compared to two conventional techniques (Hysteresis-band and ramp comparison with fix frequency carrier signal). Simulation results are illustrated for three approaches. The results verify significantly reduction of high frequency harmonics magnitude; and consequently overcome electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem in this active type of rectifier. ©2009 IEEE

    Abstract
In this paper, a unified hybrid vector control of vector modulated VIENNA I rectifier is presented. Feedback linearization technique is used for the DC-link voltage control. For this purpose, at first a mathematical model of the VIENNA I rectifier is derived. Using this model, it is shown that the dynamic of the rectifier falls into two categories; linear inner dynamic which consists of inner current control and neutral-point potential control and nonlinear outer dynamic which consists of the DC-link voltage control. Based on these facts, a hybrid vector control scheme meaning linear vector control of inner dynamics and nonlinear vector control of outer dynamic is devised. Simulations...
