    Abstract
    Boiling of water/triethyleneglycol (TEG) binary solution has a wide-ranging application in the gas processing engineering. Design, operation and optimization of the involved boilers require accurate prediction of boiling heat transfer coefficient between surface and solution. In this investigation, nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient has been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater in water/TEG binary solutions in a wide range of concentrations and heat fluxes under ambient condition.     Abstract
    In this study, turbulent natural convection in a square enclosure including one or four hot and cold bodies is numerically investigated in the range of Rayleigh numbers of 1010 < Ra < 1012. The shape of the internal bodies is square or rectangular with the same surface areas and different aspect ratios. In all cases, the horizontal walls of the enclosure are adiabatic, and the vertical ones are isothermal. It is desired to investigate the influence of different shapes and arrangements of internal bodies on the heat transfer rate inside the enclosure with wide-ranging applications such as ventilation of buildings, electronic cooling, and industrial cold box packages.     Abstract
    Aerodynamic coefficients on a two dimensional plunging airfoil, in a low-speed wind tunnel are presented. Dynamic motion was produced by plunging the model over a range of reduced frequencies, and mean angles of attack. The Reynolds number in the present test was held fixed (Re = 1.5×10 5), and the reduced frequency was varied in an almost wide range. Surface static pressure distribution was measured on the upper and lower sides of the model, during the oscillating motion. It was found that reduced frequency had strong effects on the pressure distribution, near the leading edge of the airfoil.     Abstract
    Analogous to Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE), which aims to facilitate Software Engineering through specialized tools, Computer-Aided Method Engineering (CAME) strives to support a wide range of activities carried out by method engineers. Although there is consensus on the importance of tool support in method engineering, existing CAME environments are incomplete prototypes, each covering just a few steps of the method engineering process. This paper summarizes the history and the state of the practice in CAME technology, and provides criteria-based critique on existing CAME environments, thus highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg

    The current statistical model and adaptive filtering (CSMAF) algorithm is one of the most effective methods for tracking the maneuvering targets. However, it is still worthy to investigate the characteristics of the CSMAF algorithm, which has a higher precision in tracking the maneuvering targets with larger accelerations while it has a lower precision in tracking the maneuvering targets with smaller acceleration.
