  8. The most important researchers’ purposes in superconductivity are achievement of the room temperature superconductivity and to understand the high temperature superconductivity mechanism. Researchers’ goal in to increase the transition temperature by applying pressure, changing oxygen content, different doping, and changing stoichiometry in the families of the high temperature superconductors. In this research, which has been carried out in the Magnet Research Laboratary of Sharif University of Technology, samples of Y3Ba5Cu8O18, Gd3Ba5Cu8O18, and Pr3Ba5Cu8O18 have been synthesized by the standard solid-state reaction technique, the structure, electrical and magnetic properties of the samples have been investigated. Studying of the electrical resistivity curves of different samples show that it behaves differently at temperature higher than Tc by implement in different sintering programs. The electrical behavior of the samples change from insulating state to metallic behaviour, the transition width decreases, and the secondary phase of samples are removed by increasing the sintering temperature. The structural properties of the samples have been studied by XRD and the Rietveld refinement method. Samples remain in the orthorhombic phase. Measuring the electrical resistivity of Y358 shows an improvement in the superconductivity transition temperature. The transition temperature of 105K to 101K was observed in different samples, and a transition width was improve to 2K. The width of the resistivity below transition increases with external magnetic field for the Y358 and Gd358 samples. The pinning energy was calculated though the TAFC model.
