  8. Software architecture has been known as one of the fundamental elements of effective software development process. In order to improve and optimize the software architecture design, many attempts have been made among which are introducing architectural patterns. Because of high advantages of service-oriented architecture, it is considered as one of the main interests of software developers. It should be noted, however, that getting advantages from service-oriented architecture is not possible without having an efficient management within its processes. In other words, using service-oriented architecture without considering its process management challenges, can lead to increased costs and reduced efficiencies and productivities. Therefore, a wide range of research in service-oriented architecture is dedicated to examine ways to improve management in this area. In this dissertation the effective elements in the management of service-oriented architecture processes are logically structured. This thesis deals with the organization of the service-oriented architecture processes in accordance with the managerial requirements of this software architecture style and its effective quality attributes. In the proposed framework, we have incorporated the structures and patterns in the software domain, and based on the requirements' priorities, we have improved the management processes in service-oriented architecture. To facilitate the use of framework, we have developed a tool, based on the useful component called BPMN Modeler. Using this tool, according to the input parameters and existent evaluation algorithms, a mapping is established between the structural solutions and the service oriented architecture processes, while guidelines will be given for the use of these solutions. Finally in order to clarify and explain the framework, we have included a case study in the last chapter
