  7. Abstract:
  8. Releasing radioactive materials in atmosphere and their damages on human health via emitting radioactivity, show the necessity of investigations on their behavior. To simulate behavior of radioactive materials in atmosphere, we use Gaussian plume model. Gaussian model as a mathematical tool can simulate diffusion of Gaseous matters. This model also can be employed for radioactive materials. Radioactive materials vanish by decaying and can be produced via decaying of their mothers! Therefore, later effect must be considered in the Gaussian model via a factor. Many factors like wind speed and weather conditions also are involved in diffusion of radioactive materials. By considering all of these factors, one can predict density of radioactivity materials in various distances from the source. Having density of radioactivity materials and accumulation rates concept, the gamma rays absorption dose can be obtained by using 5⁄μ method. To calculate the dose produced by radioactivity materials in atmosphere, one should consider all of the produced gamma rays, probability of their emission and also their daughters. In this research, by using Visual c# programming language, a software has been designed which be able to simulate diffusion of 11 radioisotopes in a stable atmosphere.at the end, to show validity of the output results, verification output code Pc-cream has been employed which also it was found a good accordance between them.
