  8. Product knowledge is the most precious asset of any manufacturing company, particularly for OKP companies. High level of customization is one characteristic of OKP which means more customer involvements in OKPPD activities, and customer requirements and expectations may be changing at any activity in PD, e.g., at designing stage. As SMEs, OKP companies always have limitation in resources such as machines tools, human resources, cutters, clamps, so managing the limitations is one of the major challenges that must be faced for maximizing the efficiently and productivity. The part of design that involves fuzzy problems and a lot of product knowledge, it is a critical part for the entire PD. In particular, conceptual design requires creativity and represents more than 70% of the entire cost of the product, so due to the importance of this sector in terms of product development activities, this has caused motivated that use knowledge-based systems (KBS) for improving the stage. Moreover, integrating information and knowledge in OKPPD can play effective role to improve design stage. For this purpose, integration, sharing and exchange of information and knowledge in design phase were objectives of work. Besides, for providing integrated framework Cloud Manufacturing approach was utilized. For implementing of the integrated framework in a case study, basic designing of cooling tower as an OKP's product was chosen. A software was developed for accomplishing the integrated framework in case study. The software has different features include being cloud based, having knowledge base structure in it and etc. The integrated framework which was developed enables companies to have online connection with several design agents for using their knowledge and capacities. Plus, the software can get knowledge and maintain it for reusing in similar cases which that means if the company lose one company or agent which have corporation with because of any reason, this framework can reduce effect of this issue to the company especially in OKP
