  7. Abstract:
  8. In this study, the SPME nanocomposite coating of metal organic framework/polyaniline (MOF/PANI) was fabricated by the electrochemical polymerization process. Its application was investigated via extraction of chlrobenzenes from head-space aqueous solution. The power supply voltage, time of deposition and the percent of added MOF to main polymer solution was investigated and optimized in the electrochemical polymerization process. Also extraction parameters influencing the extraction efficiency including ionic strength, extraction temperature, extraction time, as well as desorption temperature and time were investigated and optimized. The detection limits of the developed method under optimized conditions were between 0.1 and 0.2 ngL-1. The relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) (n = 3) at a concentration level of 20 ng L-1were between 5 and 8%.The calibration curves forchlorobenzenes showed a linearity in the range of 0.5–1000 ng L-1. The proposed method was successfully applied to the extraction of chlorobenzenes from spiked real water samples and relative recoveries were between 92 and 98% for all the selected analytes
