  7. Abstract:
  8. So far, many activities have been done in regarding to decrease vehicles' pollution in the international level that the electric vehicles manufacture has been emphasized in recent years. According to these issues and need to decrease air and environment pollution, the use of fuel cell as a source of power generation can have a specific effect on decreasing this pollution. In our country, according to high statistics of manufacturing and offering vehicle particularly the vehicles with high pollution, there is a need to invest in the field of creating renewable (clean) energy production systems. Regarding to decrease environment pollution and according to the importance of fuel cell's technology, in this study we investigate the possibility of manufacturing fuel cell vehicles with specific look at ensuring sustainable environment. In this thesis, we carried out technically and economically the investigation and feasibility the use of Battery- Fuel Cell Hybrid System in vehicle in order to decrease air and environment pollutants. After technical reviews and choosing Samand as the base car for this aim, we proceeded to technical reviews about manufacture of a sample car and after that carried out the feasibility for mass production of a car with Battery- Fuel Cell Propulsion System. The result shows that this plan is not justifiable without taking into account the environmental considerations and benefits, and is justifiable with taking into account these considerations subject to increase the contribute of these cars in transportation fleet
