  8. The goal of this research is to study the effective factors in order to overcome resistance to change. In today’s competitive world, change is the most critical competitive advantage of an organization to adapt to new circumstances. The failure rate of change projets is more than 70% and there are various factors responsible for this high rate. One of the most important factors is resistance to change. In this research, traditional studies of change starting in the 19’s by Kurt Lewin is the strat point, who had initiated the studies of this field with his three-step model. In recent decades, newer models have emerged which in contrast with previous versions, focused on an individual as the main factor of chane failure. In these studies, resistance is conceptualized in a tridimensional model consisting of cogontive, emotional, and behavorial dimensions. By the comparison of traditional and moden models, diverse tools to overcome resistance were discussed. Among these factors, trust in management and information sharing were the two that were evaluated through data. 138 datas were collected from employees of Shairf University of Technology. Faciliating correlation and multiple regression methods, one hypothesis out of three were proved to be statistically significant. It was shown that information sharing can increase the trust in management of the organization. However, as we have practiced the Dispositinal Resistance Scale created by Oreg, there were no statistically significant correlation between dispositional resistance and other two factors. Organizations can, with the help of research and results of this of this thesis, have a more optimized response to their condition to have a better transition through change period
