  8. In every modern society, the engineers and technical managers are in charge of planning, designing, manufacturing and utilizing the simplest products to the most complex systems. This shows the importance of reliability management in engineering systems. Inattention to the reliability of such systems leads to the difficulty or even impossibility in planning or utilizing them. Malfunction of products and systems results in disruption in different levels and can be regarded as a severe threat to society and environment.
    Therefore, consumers and general public expect products and systems to be durable, reliable and safe. Thus, the main question is how safe and how reliable the system will be in its future life time. This is a question which can be partially answered by evaluating and quantification of the reliability.
    This thesis is originated from considerable interest and deep research in development and application of reliability evaluation methods. The scope of this discussion is not limited to any of the engineering disciplines because the concepts and fundamental methods for reliability evaluation are very pervasive in and applicable to general issues of engineering. It is believed that all engineers dealing with such systems must be able to carry out these evaluations.
    Because of the complexity and disastrous consequences of the accidents in aerospace systems, reliability engineering has attracted the attention of experts in this field. Many of the developments made in reliability engineering are aimed at dealing with the needs in aerospace industry. In other words, aerospace industry is one of the origins of this issue.
    Because of the complicated nature of technology, design, manufacture, maintenance and utilization of aerospace products and systems and the massive investment in them, it is impossible to use the old trial and error methods. Precise determination of reliability in the development process of an aerospace product or system can assure the success of an aerospace project and minimize the investment risk. Today, in the development process of an aerospace product or system, reliability engineering is one the principles considered in all stages of design, manufacture and utilization.
    In this thesis, the deployment and implementation of the comprehensive system of reliability in the scope of UAVs is presented by selecting a reliability methodology and then improving and promoting it.
    The output of this thesis will be the codification and presentation of a reliability strategy with the required procedures that will be codified and developed in the form of software
