  8. Performing research and development in the field of modern vessel types which serve several functions is considerably necessary because of their importance and rapid development. HARTH vessel is considered one of the important ships which has been recently attracted much attention from the world. In this respect, a full investigation of its performance could make a big contribution to its optimum design and appropriate exploitation.“HARTH” ship is the abbreviation for “High Aspect Ratio Twin Hull” is included in the catamaran vessel category with a high aspect ratio with respect to their underwater cross-section’s ratio of length to width.A host of crucial issues should be considered for designing this kind of ships, and some of worth-mentioning factors are provided, namely “Calculation and Location of the Center of Gravity”, “Optimum Distance Between Two Bodies”, “Evaluation of Its Seakeeping Capability”, “Analysis of Produced Wave Interaction Among Bodies”.The main and primary purpose of this thesis is the modeling and seakeeping analysis of HARTH ships regarding the significance of ships’ seakeeping as well as the analysis of this capability which is the initial principle of designing.Therefore, a professional code has been established for solving equations and evaluation of HARTH’s dynamic behavior in heave and pitch motions, and finally the result of this algorithm have been validated by experimental tests. The impact of dimension and main characteristics on a ship’s performance and efficiency could be evaluated by taking advantage of this software.Geometric factors such as length, width, height, draght and the distance between two bodies are essential and contributing factors in this study
