  8. The aim of this study is to quantify the social impacts of infrastructure failure for community resilience after seismic hazards with the focus on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many studies have investigated the failure of infrastructures and their interdependencies for community resilience; however, there is a lack of comprehensive quantitative resilience framework considering social interactions along with lifelines. The upcoming research is based on the Rtx framework, which was developed at Sharif University of Technology for community resilience analysis. In the mentioned framework, the performance of different community infrastructures is simulated using probabilistic and reliability methods from the occurrence of the hazard to the end of recovery. A comprehensive map of seismic-induced social consequences has been driven with their interdependencies, and after classification, the most important cases have been modeled. The evaluations showed that PTSD was one of the most important earthquake ramifications. In this research, models have been developed for achieving total PTSD rate, clustering people to recognize the most vulnerable groups, and deriving direct and indirect costs of PTSD in the community. In the end, these models have been used for evaluating the resilience index of a virtual community, which is located near Tehran city. The results show that the cost of PTSD in the case of treatment of all patients is in the order of repair and restoration. The total cost would be even more if the patients remain without effective treatments. The study emphasizes the importance of considering indirect social consequences for community resilience, without which the costs of disasters would be underestimated
