    The Burr III distribution properly approximates many familiar distributions such as Normal, Lognormal, Gamma, Weibull, and Exponential distributions. It plays an important role in reliability engineering, statistical quality control, and risk analysis models.     Abstract
    The seemingly inherent deficiencies of integral imaging systems-in particular, the depth of field limitation-are, in this Letter, partly resolved by using an irregular lens array, where each lens is either rotated or displaced from its original position in the conventional flat lens array. It is shown that having an array of lenses in the integral imaging system has some sort of redundancy that could be exploited to improve the quality of the image formation. The needed rotation or displacement of constituent lenses in the array is found by using a meticulous optimization algorithm, which tries to evenly distribute the optical rays emanating from each of the lenses to form the final image

    Abstract
    This paper proposes an image watermarking scheme for copyright protection based on Independent Component Analysis (ICA). In the suggested scheme, embedding is carried out in cumulative form in spatial domain and ICA is used for watermark extraction. For extraction there is no need to access the original image or the watermark, and extraction is carried out only with two watermarked images. Experimental results show that the new method has better quality than famous methods [1], [2], [3] in spatial or frequency domain and is robust against various attacks.     A numerical simulation algorithm based on the finite volume discretisation is presented for analyzing ship motions. The algorithm employs a fractional step method to deal with the coupling between the pressure and velocity fields.
