    The effects of recombination lifetime on efficiency and JV characteristics of InxGa1-xN/GaN quantum dot intermediate band solar cell

    Abstract
    We introduce a new third generation of solar cell structure which inserts different-sized quantum dots in the active region of a pin structure. Generating an intermediate band in the bandgap of the host material makes a good overlap with a part of solar spectrum. The effect of the recombination mechanisms on efficiency and currentvoltage characteristics of this intermediate band solar cell is calculated. We deduce that the increase in recombination lifetime of the excited carriers can improve the characteristics of this structure. This result can be a route which helps us to take the effect on solar cell characteristics into consideration

    Abstract
    Through the activation process of T cells, actin filaments move from the cell periphery toward the cell center. The moving filaments engage with T cell receptors and thus contribute to transportation of the signaling molecules. To study the connection between the moving actin filaments and T cell receptors, an experiment available in the literature has measured filaments flow velocity passing over a region of confined clusters of receptors. It shows that flow velocity decreases in the proximity of the receptors, and then regains its normal value after traversing the region, suggesting a dissipative friction-like connection.     Abstract
    Scar tissue size following myocardial infarction is an independent predictor of cardiovascular outcomes, yet little is known about factors regulating scar size. We demonstrate that collagen V, a minor constituent of heart scars, regulates the size of heart scars after ischemic injury. Depletion of collagen V led to a paradoxical increase in post-infarction scar size with worsening of heart function. A systems genetics approach across 100 in-bred strains of mice demonstrated that collagen V is a critical driver of postinjury heart function.     Abstract
    With proliferation of single-phase rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels, phase balancing in low voltage (LV) distribution feeders becomes the point of concern. In this way, identification of the hosting phase of connected single-phase customers and PV panels is a prerequisite. This paper proposes an optimization model for the phase identification problem. The objective is to minimize the summation of the absolute error between estimated and measured variables.
